Hello! Welcome to the Kelly’s Stamping Friends blog hop, a celebration of Kelly’s 5th anniversary of joining Stampin’ Up!
I’m honoured to be part of this blog hop, and I’m thrilled she has so many talented ladies joining in to celebrate this milestone.
Kelly has achieved so much with her Stampin’ Up! career. She has built a team of fellow papercrafters and runs a very successful blog, My Papercraft Journey. Kelly has been blogging since October 2013, with an ever growing list of followers and achievements.
Kelly is a dear friend and we have known each for many years, pre-husbands, pre-children and pre-Stampin’ Up! I can say I was there for the moment Kelly found her papercraft calling! Have you read the ‘About‘ section of Kelly’s blog? I’m THAT friend 🙂 My mum is Kelly’s upline for Stampin’ Up! And, her very first blog post was of framed art she made for my son when he was born.
So now on to the project I’ve created. I gave a lot of thought to what I wanted to make, and had trouble making a decision – there are just too many great stamp sets to choose from! I do love a fancy fold card for a very special occasion, so decided I would go with that.
Have you seen the amazing bench fold cards created by Amanda Bates? Here is my version.
I used the Mixed Drinks stamp set for the drinks resting on the bar and the glass became a vase for my flowers from the Jar of Love stamp set, cut out with the Everyday Jars framelits. My wallpaper is Powder Pink from the Fresh Florals DSP stack and the bar is from Wood Textures DSP stack.
Did you see the little mirror? I made that with silver foil. And how well did I line up my straw? 😉 Mixed Drinks is a photopolymer stamp set, which makes it is so easy to line up your stamps to get one image with different colours!
A great feature of the bench fold card is that it folds flat. So you don’t have to save it to only be one you can hand deliver.
In the end, my card didn’t say ‘Happy Anniversary’ or ‘Congratulations’, but it does say how I feel about my friendship with Kelly. And who isn’t happy with a Cosmopolitan cocktail, a glass of Moscato and some flowers, right?
Happy 5th Stampin’ Up! Anniversary Kelly! Congratulations for all you have achieved xx

Love that the wine is a Moscato!!! Absolutely stunning card – love your take on this fancy fold! And I’m so glad that we can share this journey as a continuation of our friendship. We aren’t friends because of Stampin’ Up! but I love that we share that. Kelly x PS, thanks for linking my first ever post…. what a journey!
