Hello and welcome to my little patch of the internet.
I’m going to start with a tried and true topic for making conversation – the weather! What is it like where you are?
Here in south west Western Australia it is very cold and has been raining for days! We are experiencing true winter weather. Miss 6 is in her third year of school and we haven’t had as many raincoat days for drop off and pick up as this month.
The best thing about this sort of weather is it’s perfect for time at the craft desk. What’s better than warm, comfy clothes, a hot cuppa and crafting? Maybe some time going on a blog hop? π
This month for the Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop we are showcasing the range of hostess stamp sets available from Stampin’ Up! (R). I chose to use the set ‘Feathered Friends’. I got this one with my daughter in mind, as she loves colouring in, but I got to have the first turn π
I’ve made a clean and simple card, with a matching envelope. And I made the layers ‘off-kilter’ (have you heard this term before?) I usually like to have my layers straight, so this was a fun part of this project.
What’s good about clean and simple cards? They’re easy to mass produce! I made ten cards using the In-Colours for 2016-2018 and 2017-2019.
Which set do you like the most? Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugar Plum?
Or Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide?
I don’t have a favourite set, but I do love Flirty Flamingo!
Have a wonderful weekend wherever you are. I hope the weather is just right for you. I’m hoping for some time on the couch watching a movie but my kids might say otherwise!
I’m lucky last in this blog hop, next will take you back to the start to see Kelly at My Papercraft Journey – her creation is amazing!
Amazing job, I never considered buying this stamp set before but after seeing your cards I might have tooπ

I love how colourful your cards are, they just seem to pop out at me. The feathered friends look like a great versatile hostess stamp set as it can be used in so many ways. Off the kilter designs also add another element of creativity.
