Hi there, welcome to some Friday night fun for those of you who are in that phase of life where a night in is more appealing than going out! (At least that’s what you tell yourself, cos having kids means there is no choice…)
Tonight is another Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop. If you’re making the rounds, you’ve arrived here from Stella’s Secretly Scrapbooking page. Next stop is with Coriana at her Tall Journeys blog.
This hop we’re all making projects using DSP (designer series paper). I’m going retro and using some retired DSP from my stash, Summer Smooches. The great thing about this collection is all the colours featured are still current, so no trouble matching card stock and inks for my creations! ๐
How do I love thee, DSP? Let me count the ways…
1) Featured front of a card – single piece (inspiration)
Gotta use Stitched Shape framelits at least once in a crafting session ๐
2) Featured front using strips/scraps (inspiration)
Wink of Stella adds that extra touch for a lovely finished product ๐
3) Filling in the negative space on a card front (inspiration)
When did you last do some paper piercing? A great extra detail on a simple card ๐
If you make a non-standard card size you can use your DSP to make any size envelope you need – easy peasy with the Stampin’ Up!ยฎ envelope punch board!
Make gift bags to suit any size present and embellish to your hearts content (or as time permits in my case! ๐)
Which way do you love to use DSP? Are you a DSP hoarder? Have that one design that you just can’t cut?
For more DSP inspiration, keep hopping along to see what Coriana has created.
Have a great weekend, Narelle
Great co-ordination Narelle to use the DSP in every aspect xx

What a great assortment of projects! And wonderful way to remind us that retired DSP has as much value (or maybe more so…. Bella Rose is my all time fave DSP that I hoard) as current stock. Kelly x
