Hello, I haven’t joined a challenge for a while and here I am entering four challenges in two days! Yesterday I made a card for two Facebook based challenges, and tonight’s creation is for Freshly Made Sketches and Just Add Ink.
These two challenges are a great inspiration combination – a sketch and colours! I just had to choose a stamp set, or in this case framelits 🙂
I borrowed the Basket Bunch set from my mum and was eager to make something with the patterned egg framelits.
I had planned to just have the eggs on a white card but I felt they needed something behind them so I added silver foil, and then the stitched squares, and then the Lovely Lipstick square on a Gorgeous Grape card. Bermuda Bay was used for the ‘happy’ so that covered each of the JAI challenge colours.
So… now that I’ve finished my card I fear it is not really CAS – very little white space!! But I decided to submit it to FMS anyway…
Do you ever start with a plan in mind and have the end result turn out VERY differently? That’s me most of the time!
Have you got any sets that you will never part with? I think Basket Bunch is definitely a keeper for Easter projects.
Thanks for visiting 🙂
Narelle
