Hello! This is one of my rare non-blog hop posts.
It’s Father’s Day here in Australia and I wanted to share with you two cards I made with the new Stampin’ Up!®️ set ‘A Good Man’.
The cardstock colours were taken from the retired patterned paper I used – Old Olive cards with Night of Navy mats. I stamped the images in Night of Navy ink, and then coloured them with water colour pencils. (It looked a bit flat before the colouring.) You can’t go past stitched framelits for a lovely finish on stamped image panels. And Old Olive enamel dots were just the right embellishment.
This card is for my husband, the father of my children 🙂 We are blessed with a daughter and a son, so I loved the images in the stamp set depicting both. My husband and their dad is definitely a good man 😊
This card is for my dad, who is also a wonderful Grandad to my kids! He’s recently retired so enjoying lots of relax time, but we hope it’s especially enjoyable today.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures.
Thanks for visiting,
Narelle 🙂
Fabulous creation, Narelle. Perfect use of the colours from the dsp. Love the little red heads 😉
