Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog today π
Today is week 2 of Social Stamping, hosted by Kelly from My Papercraft Journey. While we are all doing our best to stay physically distanced, this is a great opportunity to still be social, through stamping and sharing what we’ve made virtually. You can see the list of everyone joining in today here or click on the banner above. (Click here to see the list from last week.)
This week’s theme is ‘Thank You’. And I would like to say just that to Kelly! With all this time at home, I imagine many of you are getting in extra crafting time, but for me, I find it easy to waste time with non-productive activities. So having this weekly blog is something to look forward to and gets me at my craft desk π
As soon as the ‘Thank You’ theme was announced I knew exactly what I was going to make. These beautiful cards by Sue Vine have long been on my CASE bucket list! And this one too. I’ll let you in on a secret… This was the first use for my Flowering Fields stamp set and Wildflower Fields DSP and I can’t believe I waited this long! The stamps are lovely. And so much inspiration on Pinterest, I will definitely be using them many more times.
All the flowers and leaves are coloured using a blender pen dipped in stamp pad ink squished on to the lid. I used Calypso Coral, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.
Sneaky ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment as I couldn’t find the right size Thank You for this one.
These two are more inspired than CASEd.
Do you have any stamp sets in your stash that are yet to see ink? I’ve more than I would like.
Are you getting extra craft time while stuck at home? I managed it this week while hubby was on night shift and the kids were in bed.
Thank you again for stopping by!

I’d love to be isolated without the kids as an experiment to see how much time I could spend in the craft room!!! There’s lots of neglected sets on my shelf, but with the prediction of a long isolation, hopefully they’ll see some ink soon! Love your wildflower creations. Those images are some great colouring therapy! Kelly x

What a lovely set of creations, I just love the ones with the central sentiment and all the flowers radiating out, I’ll have to try that. I used this set so much when I first owned it, but like others it is sitting idle. This might be the perfect time to get it down again now that you have inspired me. Thankyou

Send your non inky sets around to my place! Haha! I will try to give them a workout. Although I must say, 3 kids at home with a shift worker too, leaves a little less time for me than I would like to craft!
I really love your bunch of cards, these flowers are pretty.
