Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog 🙂
Welcome to Week 4 of Social Stamping. Kelly, of My Papercraft Journey, continues to do an amazing job of coordinating this project. This week our theme is ‘Friend’, with more than 20 crafty ladies signing up to share their creations.

The ‘Under My Umbrella’ stamp set has a lovely friendship sentiment, so that was my starting point for today’s cards. This set comes with a matching punch, which makes it easy to stamp and cut out images.
These cards use the ‘Carried Away’ patterned paper, which was available as a freebie in Sale-a-Bration a few years ago. The cloudy paper matched nicely with my friendship sentiment, umbrellas and gum boots. The images were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in white.
My next card trio also uses ‘Carried Away’ paper for the background. My umbrellas and gumboots were stamped in Basic Gray on ‘Sunshine and Sprinkles’ patterned paper – I just love the colours in this one!
In my haste to complete the second set of cards, I made a bit of a mistake… oops!
And while I was crafting today, I had my daughter keeping me company. She asked me to share her creation with you. Miss 8 used the ‘Wiggle Worm’ stamp set to create what she called a comic book style card. She learned how to heat emboss today 🙂
Thank you again for stopping by!
Next on the list is Lisa, a very lovely Paper Adventures team mate with her beautiful ‘friend’ themed project.
Narelle 🙂

A great set of cards and love the pairing with the DSP. Don’t you hate when you’ve finished your card only to find out you stuck it on upside down or backwards. Your daughter did a great job too.
