Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog 🙂
Welcome to Week 5 of Social Stamping. Kelly, of My Papercraft Journey, is our amazing blog host – each week she plans a theme and coordinates lots of crafty ladies to share their creations. Click here or on the banner above to view the list of today’s new blog posts.
In honour of ANZAC Day, and acknowledging troubled times even though we are technically in ‘peace time’, this week our theme is ‘war & peace’.
Here are the two stamp sets I used for today’s project – Boys Will Be Boys and Epic Alphabet.
Â
I was chatting to my mum about today’s theme, I said I bet there’ll be lots of poppies but I don’t have that set. Mum suggested the army man from the ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ stamp set to tie in with the ‘war’ aspect of the theme and I was set! After creating a framed picture for my daughter, my son wanted to know when he would get one. Well here it is!
I couldn’t find a sentiment I liked, as I scanned my stamp sets I saw ‘Epic Alphabet’ and decided to use that.
The finishing touch of birds is from the ‘Beautiful Moments’ set.
Thank you again for stopping by!
Next on the list is the talented Chantell Randall.
Narelle 🙂
