Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog 🙂
Welcome to Week 10 of Social Stamping. You can click here or on the banner above to see a list of all the blog posts.
This week Social Stamping Superstar organiser, Kelly has set our theme as ‘hearts’💕. I’m sure there will be lots of beautiful love and heart themed creations for you to see as you visit all the blogs.
But, for me, when thinking about what to make this week I wasn’t ‘feeling the love’ for a hearts inspired project (pun intended) so I went hunting for inspiration for punch art using hearts.
My first card was cased from this pretty one by Carolina Evans. I used the sweetheart punch for the tutu in (retired) Powder Pink, with my two favourite embossing folders – Tufted and Subtle.
I added Wink of Stella and some soft, white tulle to the tutu.

My next card used two retired punches – Confetti Hearts and Heart Trio. I like the High Sea embossing folder and am sad to see this one retiring. More retired card colours – Cucumber Crush, Peek-a-boo Peach and Watermelon Wonder with my favourite blue, Balmy Blue.
The fish bodies were punched using a Christmas bauble punch. More Wink of Stella on the tails and fins to add some interest. And I masked the ‘w’ of the Birthday Wishes sentiment and hand wrote and ‘f’.
My last card also used the Heart Trio punch. This card features Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple on a Pool Party background.
I added texture to the butterfly wings with the Swirls embossing folder, and the clouds were sponged with Whisper White through a mask. And, yes, more Wink of Stella and black fine liner to add antennae and flight path dashes.
Enjoy feeling the love as you see the blog posts today ❤️
Next stop is with the lovely Nicole Wilson, with her beautiful hearts inspired creation.
Thank you again for stopping by!

Very clever punch art Narelle. Hard to pick a favourite, but I do think the tutu is just gorgeous!
