Hello! It’s a Paper Adventures team blog hop so it must be Friday π I hope you’ve had a good week and are now enjoying some time putting your feet up, and visiting my lovely team mates’ blogs to see their crafty creations.
This month’s theme is a kit challenge – we’ve been given a recipe to follow and then the fun part is seeing what ingredients we chose and how it turned out!
We’re excited this month to have the talented Joanne James joining the hop as our guest designer, from her blog The Crafty Owl.
My card uses some of the pretty Lily Impressions DSP, layered on gold foil and a Highland Heather card base. I tried a Flirty Flamingo card base but my colour consultant (Miss 9) chose Highland Heather π
Now to check if I’ve met the brief π
Square piece of DSP βοΈ
Piece of ribbon at least 10cm βοΈ
Trinket or embellishment βοΈ (doily)
Technique: embossing – heat βοΈ (gold sentiment)
Technique: embossing – dry βοΈ (Subtle embossing folder used to emboss the whole card base)
Here is a close up of my card ingredients.
I really love this sentiment from the Hanging Garden stamp set. Subtle embossing adds a lovely element of texture to any project and I think the doily fills in the corner space nicely.
What would you have made with these ingredients? I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s creations.
Next in our team hop is lovely Sheila, sharing her project at her blog, Stand Up Stamper.
Thanks for visiting!

This ticks all the boxes, for sure!! Such a pretty card. I love the gold foil, it really sets everything off. Love the whole card base being embossed as well, that is such a nice textural addition. π Siobhan.
